I met with Shanell in El Chante, a luxury villa perched among lush gardens, overlooking the ocean in Tamarindo. We did a trial the day before where we chatted about makeup and life. She had a pretty good idea of the look she envisioned for wedding day, so it was just a matter of fine tuning a few details.
As a minimal makeup user, Shanell knew she wanted to play up her beautiful, exotic eyes, but keep her fresh looking fresh and dewy. Her wedding day was in late June, well into rainy season. And the air was t-h-i-c-k with humidy.
On wedding day the mood was high! She was surrounded by her lively group of ladies, and the room was full of laughs and love. Since we'd had the trial the day before she was able to relax and just enjoy the time with her best ladies before heading out to say her "I do" to her favorite person, Jason.
